COMME des GARÇONS SEOUL "FIVE TUNNELS" STORE

COMME des GARÇONS welcomes a new 1.600 square meters flagship store in the heart of Seoul.

Keeping only the 47m x 18m glass façade of an existing building, the totally re-conceived interior will house all the COMME des GARÇONS lines in seven floors. These half floors are linked by five enclosed sloping tunnels in which be displayed a variety of special COMME des GARÇONS products as well as other designers and artists.

In the 150 square meter basement, there is the COMME des GARÇONS Six gallery, only the second such space in the world after the Six in Osaka, where exhibitions will be be held three times a year, starting in October with David Lynch "The Darkened Room".

Finally, the ground floor hosts the first Rose Bakery franchise outside Europe, as well as the COMME des GARÇONS PLAY BOX.

The COMME des GARÇONS "Five Tunnels" is designed by REI KAWAKUBO.

DAVID LYNCH "DARKENED ROOM" EXHIBITION AT COMME des GARÇONS SIX OSAKA

COMME des GARÇONS Six (Osaka) will host a new exhibition of short films and artworks by American film director David Lynch entitled "Darkened Room".

The show started Saturday (07.08) in Osaka and runs through October 9th before moving to Seoul to the new six level COMME des GARÇONS flagship store (opening 27.08).

The almost 19.000 square foot store will host COMME des GARÇONS's second Six art exhibition space.
