COMME des GARÇONS SEOUL "FIVE TUNNELS" STORE
COMME des GARÇONS welcomes a new 1.600 square meters flagship store in the heart of Seoul.Keeping only the 47m x 18m glass façade of an existing building, the totally re-conceived interior will house all the COMME des GARÇONS lines in seven floors. These half floors are linked by five enclosed sloping tunnels in which be displayed a variety of special COMME des GARÇONS products as well as other designers and artists.
In the 150 square meter basement, there is the COMME des GARÇONS Six gallery, only the second such space in the world after the Six in Osaka, where exhibitions will be be held three times a year, starting in October with David Lynch "The Darkened Room".
Finally, the ground floor hosts the first Rose Bakery franchise outside Europe, as well as the COMME des GARÇONS PLAY BOX.
The COMME des GARÇONS "Five Tunnels" is designed by REI KAWAKUBO.
