"In the beginning I was swimming in the dark. I told him to think of some planet and what flowers would grow there, what color they would be and what they would smell like.
Not much help but I came across a book with photos of volcanoes in which there was a double page photo with a field of lava, completely black, nothing except a tiny hole out of which was growing a tiny flower.
It was green, fragile and fresh, alive in the middle of nothing but black.
There was a life here too. That flower in the photo is green and it could be red, it could be a color that had not yet be seen it. It could be no color. Maybe this flower is half organic and half mechanic.
This is the flower you want it to be."
