On of the most celebrated collaborations of COMME des GARÇONS is also with swimwear manufacturer SPEEDO, the Kokoro collection is coming soon to our store and also online.
COMME des GARÇONS in 2008 was chosen one of the most celebrated Japanese artist's Inoue Yu-ichi's painting to illustrate graphically this swimwear collection and also the LZR racer swimsuit.
The calligraphy graphic that forms the key graphic print is read as "kokoro" meaning heart, mind, spirit and feeling.
At the same year Rei Kawakubo designed the uniforms of USA team for Beijing Olympics featuring the kokoro.
